Baptism Record Requests:

The Uniting Church in Australia came into being in 1977 following the union of three denominations: The Presbyterian Church of Australia, The Queensland Congregational Union and the Methodist Church of Australia. Most of the records (not all) prior to 1977 are held at the State Library. Requests for Baptism records after 1977 are directed to the relevant Congregation (if they still exist). In both cases we will perform the search on your behalf.

There might be some cases where we are unable to validate your Baptism (pre or post 1977) due to Baptismal Records not being available.

Please supply us with the following information in order for us to perform a search for your Baptism Records on your behalf? It is important to supply us with as much information as possible in order for us to trace the record(s).

The cost of a baptism record search is $20.00 (including GST). The payment will be invoiced to you and must be paid before the record can be provided.
