I’m calling people in ministry to attend the Signposts Conference immediately before the Synod gathering in May to provide an opportunity for us to renew our sense of being a pilgrim people on a journey. We’ve learnt over the years that a permission-giving environment is essential to growing new communities of faith and refreshing established congregations. My hope is that this gathering will give you new found confidence in developing and supporting the church in new environments, including schools, care agencies, social and work environments.
While I am hoping that all in specified ministries will attend the gathering, the event is open to anyone who is interested. I invite you come prepared to share your local stories .
