Giving back to God
In the Old Testament, the Israelites had to contribute a percentage of their harvest and new born animals to acknowledge the Lord as their God. We believe God is also calling us to tithe on our income to our church so that ministry can occur in our local community and beyond. We understand that this tithe is for the church’s use and it is up to the church leaders to decide where it is to be applied. Giving is our first priority when we receive our pay-cheque. We budget to give a proportion of our income each payday and we try to do it cheerfully and humbly. It’s awesome to see how God uses what we give for his glory.
