I am not alone
As I wander through life I see so much that warms my heart and much that troubles my soul. I am lifted up by experiences of love, justice and generosity but become depressed by the unfairness I see where people are starving, wars are killing and the environment is being destroyed. My faith is the only thing that helps me make sense of life and all that 'stuff'. I am encouraged that Jesus, the centre of my faith, experienced the same highs and lows of love and rejection, satisfactio and pain. Wherever I find my self I know that Jesus understands and has been there before me. I know I am not alone in life.
