Part of a community
I am part of a very small church. We don't have a minister and we don't have a church building. We are a group of people who would probably not hang out together it we weren't a church. We meet one night each week to share some food and drink, to talk about what's happening in our lives, and to read the Bible and ee what we can learn from that. We don't sing hymns but we do set aside money to give to mission and support a chaplain in the local high school. We don't really look like a 'normal' church but we are a full part of Uniting Church in Australia and value being connected to other churches through that relationship.
